On Wednesday morning, Jessie slept in for the last
time in 18 months! 😊 She requested lunch at Zupas as her last meal
before entering the MTC. From there, she
and Sarah drove to the Provo temple to take a few pictures before the drop-off
and final goodbyes.
At the appointed time, they arrived at the underground
parking lot at the MTC, where a kind Elder helped off-load Jessie’s bag. After a hug farewell from her big sister and
a quick photo, she was off.
A couple of hours later, the following email came.
“My companion is Sister Makenzie Christensen! SO
AWESOME! She went to BYUI and we are both going to Sydney. We have not taken a
picture yet. I love my district and my teacher seems very nice. I am feeling so
great and I was welcomed by so many! All is well."
