He Lives 🌿

Hi family & friends,

I hope you all are happy and well and finding things to enjoy. I would love to hear from you :')

Another week gone, time flies!!! I don't want think transfer to end but it will soon, me oh my! Transfer calls are this week ahhh! I love the HeartLake ward, the friends we are teaching, bumpin' Brampton, and my beautiful companion, Sister Gallup!! God has given me so much and I am really thankful. This week we had some joyous moments.

Back in June we met this guy named Jonny just at the church. He came up and knocked on the church door to ask if he could read and pray with us, so so cool. We weren't able to get in contact with him for months, but just last week he messaged us, and we were able to meet up at the temple. Jonny is so sensitive to the Spirit, he is the most humble person, and expresses so so so so much gratitude. He has an eternal perspective on life, which is so special. On a call this week too, he was just expressing gratitude for the sun, because it reminds him that Heavenly Father is there:) How beautiful is that!!!!

We also had a lesson with our friend Oral in person woohoooo. He is the coolest man on earth! A few weeks ago, we invited him to pray every day and just this week he said thank you because he told us that he really has noticed a difference. Prayer is real, and powerful, and can change our nature!

Last highlight from this weekkk was last night. We got invited to Brother Blenhart's backyard for a cottage evening with Bishop Sherman and the incredible Otesanya family. Brother Blenhart shared his conversion story. He joined through the Osmonds.. maybe Dad will know who they are.. but it was so powerful and neat to hear. THEN we listened to why the Otesanya's decided to join the church and that was so special. Fola explained that they had been to other churches before, but she felt something different this time. I can agree with Fola when she says this because I know this is Christ's restored church on the earth again:)

Lately, my studies have been focused completely on Christ, and His infinite and eternal sacrifice for ALL of us. I love this part from a talk given by Bishop Caussé because it helps us understand how Christ can lift, heal, and help us! He said, "When was the last time you felt the sweet influence of the Savior’s Atonement in your life? This happens when you feel an “exquisite and sweet” joy come over you that bears witness to your soul that your sins are forgiven; or when painful trials suddenly become lighter to bear; or when your heart is softened, and you are able to express forgiveness to someone who has hurt you. Or it may be each time you notice your capacity to love and serve others has increased or that the process of sanctification is making you a different person, patterned after the Savior’s example."

I have felt this and I know that our Savior, Jesus Christ lives! ðŸŒ¿

I love you alllll, have a fantastic week and don't miss out on general conference this weekend!!!!!! It will be exactly what God needs you to know right now

All In

Hi everyone!!!!! How is life treating you??

When I think back on this week all I can say is that we are not alone. With our schedule, I know God was there every step of the way. Christ can lift us and help us do things that seem way too hard. He is ALL IN. He is committed to us. His compassion and mercy are extended in every moment. I am so thankful for my Savior Jesus Christ and I know that it is because of Him that I can do things beyond my own capacity and strength!!

A highlight from this week was Saturday night. We had a lesson with our AMAZING friends Chris and Calisha at the chapel. It is so special to bring them to the chapel because it is a dedicated building! While we were there Chris said, "I love being here, it just feels like home." :))) We taught them about how the fulness of the gospel of Jesus Christ has been restored of the earth again and it was so powerful. While sharing the account of Joseph Smith's First Vision the Spirit was felt by all. Chris and Calisha told us that our message just made sense, and they told us never to be afraid to invite them to church and meet again. How miraculous is this?

We also met a new friend this week. His name is Sameh and he is more than prepared. He loves going to church, he loves the scriptures. This week while we were having a lesson at the temple, he told us he knew the Book of Mormon and the Bible were true and from God. Sister Gallup and I have just been amazed with how much he knows and with how quick he is progressing. He is willing to drop everything for the Lord. He is a great example for us!

I just love being a missionary because there really is no greater joy than helping others come to know that they have a loving Heavenly Father who is still reaching out to them in love and a Savior who makes all things possible.

Have a beautiful week everyone, I love you all

My Light ☀️

Friends and family,

I love you all and hope that things are rocking and rolling with it being September now! Please let me know if I can do anything to help you ðŸ’—💗

This week was just an overall happy week :-) We had zone conference over zoom three mornings in a row with Elder and Sister McCune and so the Spirit was strong and abiding throughout the whole week and I know without a doubt that these feelings are worth every sacrifice. The Spirit is God's greatest gift to us and I am just filled with so much gratitude. I was so thankful for Elder and Sister McCune's preparation, their love and just how they taught so simply! They really reminded me of how lucky and blessed I am to be a missionary at this time and I couldn't agree more.

Here are some quick miracles this week!! We got the most beautiful text message from our friend Adam. Now that his son is going back to school he's going to have more time to talk with us. In his message he told us that he has been spending a lot of time pondering about the verses and individuals in the Book of Mormon, and told us he is just amazed with what Joseph Smith had to go through to bring truth back onto the earth. He strengthens my testimony. Another miracle.. we got a referral right before bed who wanted to join church AT 9AM the next morning. She was there and we now have our first visit set up at the temple this Wednesday! She wants to study for the Bible and the Book of Mormon. How beautiful and prepared are these children of God! ðŸ˜Œ We are also grateful for miracles that happen when we act of spiritual promptings! Our friend Kathy's name kept coming to mind and we finally called her. She expressed to us how she has been struggling lately with surgeries and staying positive! Then said that she had been meaning to call us!! Our Savior really does know what every individual needs💗

I am just so happy I get to be a missionary. I love my Savior Jesus Christ! I know that the gospel of Jesus Christ is a gospel of transformation!! Because of His suffering and because of His resurrection we can overcome all things that weigh us down, and we can live with our families for eternity. He can enable us and give us strength beyond our own. He is our light ☀

Blessing!!!

Hiiii

I hope you're all doing well and finding joy with the start of fall :-) it's that time for pumpkin everything woohoo!

You know the weeks where you barely have time to eat??? That was this week. Not to mention the fire alarms in our building going off at 4am. So, so, sooo crazy busy but so worth it because it was just filled with miracles, one after the other. Just yesterday on our bikes we were stopped by a sweet lady who said "hi missionaries!" She expressed to us how grateful she was to see us because she didn’t know there were missionaries in this area! We later learned that she moved to Brampton right when Covid started and so she hasn't been able to go to church. She didn't even know where church was! We were happy to direct her to what she needed. God is still in the details! Also, while on our bikes this kind old lady offered to give me her scarf after I complimented it. I didn’t take it but that was seriously soooo Christ-like, wow. She was an angel.

Ok also this week the most miraculous thing happened. We had this amazing lady ask for a Bible! We met her and got to know her then we go to grab the Bible out of the car and find out we don't even have one. EPIC fail. It all worked out though cause this lady, Benita, was so understanding and we were able to give her one later that night. Even though it was such a big mistake on our part.. Benita just got a kick out of it and we were all just laughing by the end of it! Clearly God is still magnifying our messy efforts. We also got to give her a Book of Mormon. We were pretty hesitant at first but knew those feeling were not from God so we pushed past it and gave her the Book of Mormon and she responded with so much love and gratitude! Her response could have made our entire week, but God decided to continue showering blessings.

So, the next day as we are walking back to our cute apt 914, we run into our neighbor, Kenneth!! He is such a cool guy and he always is just so kind and respectful to us. We got talking and eventually he said, "so when are you going to recruit me?" Hahah we asked him what he meant, and he told us that our cookie drop off a few weeks ago was what really got him thinking. He told us he wants to change, and he wants to have God in his life again. Everything about this was miracle. We never thought a cookie drop off would go such a long way. Sometimes it's the little things that bring about so much happiness and change.

ALSO, we had in person church for the first time with the ward!!!! (Only 25 people in each session but that's ok) Kevin, Calisha and Chris all came to church. Chris afterwards told us that he could really feel God's love for him during the meeting. They are just such amazing people and God really has prepared their hearts! Oh and the Otesanya family came to church this week too which was so beautiful because it was their first time since their baptism. They are the most faithful family I know, and they are examples to me. Agh, I just love them!

Hope you all have a wonderful week. Please let me know if there is anything I can do for you <33.
